Bodhisattva

A Bodhisattva (Sanskrit: बोधिसत्त्व; Tibetan: བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ, Jangchub Sempa, 'Hero of Awakening') is an individual cultivating Bodhicitta—the altruistic motivation to attain enlightenment for the liberation of all beings.
